PROJECT: THE WHOLE BEAN LANDING PAGE
The Whole Bean is a fictitious coffee shop that had a grand opening last year. The assignment was to create a landing page with two main goals: alert the neighborhood area to the grand opening dates when they could get a free cup of house blend and enter a raffle for the chance to win one year of free coffee, and get a free scone by signing up for the monthly newsletter.
For this assignment, I was responsible for creating a logo, icon pairs, choosing the color scheme, font family, and photography (banner images and social media images from 500pix) creating social media banners, and selecting images that would appropriately reflect the brand and target audience to create a landing page that would match the general look and feel of The Whole Bean's brick and mortar location. Outside of the original class assignment, I created an email template response for the CTA of getting a free scone with newsletter signup and a business card for the owner. All of these assets were then placed into a Brand Style Guide for future reference. We were allowed to create whatever we wanted, as long as the branding was uniform.
I chose to create a kitschy, fun design for this neighborhood coffee shop.
